Start a Checklist

1. Scan a Code:
   • Allow Inspeckta mobile to access your device's camera.
   • Scan the barcode on the equipment you want to perform the checklist on.
   
   • If the barcode is not in the Inspeckta database, you will be prompted to enter a Name and Classification for the equipment.
   • Select or search for the appropriate Classification.
   
   
   • Complete the required property fields linked to the Classification.
   
   • Save the property fields and proceed to the starting point of the checklist.
   
   
   • To view all checklists, click the three dots in the top right-hand corner.
   
   
2. Search for Equipment:
   • Select the equipment you want to perform the checklist on from the list or search by entering the name or code.
   
   
   • Once the equipment is selected, you will be taken to the starting point of the checklist.
   • Tap "Start"(green arrow) to begin the checklist, and the first checkpoint will appear.
   
   
   • If a Note or Media is required to complete the checkpoint, you must add the necessary information before proceeding.
   • You can add Notes to provide details related to the checkpoint.
   
   • You can also add Media such as images or videos if required.
   • After completing a checkpoint and adding any necessary Media or Notes, you will see all the details and content added.
   
   • You can manage images in the Media Gallery, including adding, editing, or deleting them.

   Added Photos will appear in the Media Gallery shown below.

   

   

   From the Media Gallery, you are able to:

   1. Add images from your device's camera roll. (magnifying glass)
   2. Add Notes to Images (notepad pen icon)
   3. Edit Images (pen + scribbles icon)
   4. Delete Images (red bin icon)

   Adding Notes

   Click Save Notes to continue.

   Deleting Images

   Click Delete to confirm or Cancel to go back.

   
   • You can manage viedos in the Video Gallery, including adding, viewing, or deleting them.

   Added Videos will appear in the Video Gallery.

   

   

   From the Video Gallery, you are able to:

   1. Add videos from your device's camera roll. (magnifying glass)
   2. Delete Videos (red bin icon)
   3. Play and Pause when watching videos.

   • When capturing images or videos, you can switch between front and rear cameras, adjust flash settings, and switch between photo and video mode.

   When capturing an image, you have the option to:

   1. Switch to the front camera instead of the rear camera (arrows icon)
   2. Flash settings include On, Off and Auto (lightning bolt icon)
   3. Switch to video mode (Click Video)

   

   When capturing a video, you have the option to:

   1. Switch to the front camera instead of the rear camera (arrows icon)
   2. Flash settings include On, Off and Auto (lightning bolt icon)
   3. Switch to image mode (Click Photo)

   
   • Ensure necessary permissions are granted for accessing the device's camera roll and location.
   
   
   • Before submitting the checklist, you have the option to add Closing Remarks.
   
   • Once submitted, you will be directed to an index of instances of that specific Work Order.
   
3. Perform a checklist at this Location:
   • Selecting this option will present you with the available checklists to perform at the current location.
   

These options provide flexibility in starting checklists based on scanning equipment codes, searching for specific equipment, or performing checklists at a specific location.
